At club TBD, Daniel is with Parker when he spots Eric who is drunk. Daniel sends Parker home with his babysitter and confronts Eric. Eric just wants to be left alone and get drunk. Daniel asks him why now? It isn't all about Serena, Eric feels that every decision he has made has ended badly for him. He also comments that Daniel has everything he wants. Nicole arrives and they talk Eric into going home. Daniel gets him settled but thinks he should not leave him alone. Nicole goes home to care for Parker.
The next day, Nicole arrives with a bagel for Daniel. Eric awakes and is apologetic for his actions last night. Daniel tells him to forget about it. Daniel has to leave for the hospital, grabs his bagel and tells Eric to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. When Daniel leaves, Nicole offers Eric a job at Basic Black.
At the hospital, Victor asks Daniel if Kayla is around. Daniel says she had to do emergency surgery. Daniel asks if he can help, Victor says no. Daniel hurries off to see patients.
