At the hospital, Maggie rushes into Daniel's office. She got Daniel's message that Brady was admitted. Daniel has Brady's results. He felt Maggie should be here if Brady needs her as she is his sponsor. They go to check on Brady. Daniel tells Brady that he was drugged and injected with a tranquilizer. Someone also took blood from him. Daniel has notified the police and Abe has sent a crew to the Kiriakis mansion to investigate. Abe arrives and tells Brady they found his wallet with no cash. Abe and Daniel leave to talk privately.
Daniel apologizes to Brady for assuming it was drug related. Brady understands Daniel is just trying to protect Melanie. Daniel tells him that Melanie means the world to him. Daniel also cares about Brady and asks if there is anything he can do for him. Brady asks him to explain things to Melanie.
