Nicole is at Daniel's apartment. She takes her time shaving Daniel, but when she moves in to kiss him, he pulls away. Once again he tells her that he is not ready for them to move on. He goes to change and comes out in his scrubs to go to work. Nicole is disappointed he is going to work. Daniel will meet her for coffee in the morning. Maggie brings Parker home and Nicole decides to leave. Melanie arrives and she agrees to watch Parker.
Daniel leaves, but stops by to see Jennifer. She has been ignoring his calls. He wants to know what she is hiding about JJ. Jennifer thanks him for his concern and is grateful that he has helped JJ, but Jennifer wants him to drop his concern for JJ. Daniel doesn't understand the turn around. JJ arrives and is happy. Daniel asks him why the good demeanor. JJ avoids his question and Daniel decides to leave and give up worrying about JJ.
