At the hospital, Theresa finds Daniel. She taunts him about Brady being a loser and dating his daughter. Daniel puts her in her place. He is annoyed with her selfish character. He chastises her for her gold digger obsession.
Later, Daniel overhears Nicole explaining why she gave up on the story of Sonny's shooting to her editor. Daniel is impressed by her thoughtfulness. Nicole tells Daniel that she has learned her lesson and will never hurt him again. She loves him more than ever. Daniel does not know what to say.
