Daniel is with heat stricken Eric and Nicole. He is unable to get a pulse from Nicole. Daniel starts CPR and sends Brady for cool water. Nicole finally responds to Daniel's CPR and responds. Daniel orders an ambulance to quickly move Eric and Nicole to the hospital.
At the hospital, Daniel stays with Nicole who keeps slipping in and out of consciousness. Brady comes in and Daniel updates him that Nicole is at a risk for brain damage. Daniel is beside himself with worry.
Nicole wakes up and calls Daniel's name. He tells her he is sorry for doubting her and he loves her. She drifts back to sleep. When she wakes up she tells Daniel that she was dreaming of him. She asks him if it is real. He tells her she is going to be fine. Nicole starts to cry and tells him that she loves him. He has always been the one. Daniel kisses her forehead, grateful that she is OK. Nicole drifts back to sleep and flashes back to kissing Eric in the boiler room.
