Daniel arrives back in his office to find Nicole with Xander. Xander greets him with a huge hello and Daniel recognizes who he is. Nicole is surprised that Daniel and Xander know each other. Daniel explains that he, Brady and Xander spent a summer together at one of Victor's estates on a Greek isle. Daniel watches as Xander and Nicole know each other. and puts two and two together. Xander was her coffee date. Xander registers the tension between Nicole and Daniel and decides to leave. Nicole starts to explain, but Daniel stops her short. He tells her that she is so afraid of not having a man in her life, that she immediately sought out Xander after their spat. Maggie interrupts and Nicole leaves in a hurt huff.
Later, Daniel explains Xander to Maggie. He can't put his finger on it, but he thinks Xander has a dangerous aura about him. He worries for Nicole.
