At Daniel's apartment, Nicole again pleads her case to reconcile with Daniel. This time Daniel agrees. They decide to go bowling to have a night where the only discussion is about them. Daniel goes to change and a knock comes at the door. Xander and Serena show up. Xander has presents for the family. He asks Daniel to show him the apartment as a ploy so Serena can retrieve the hidden diamonds in the fireplace. When Nicole doesn't join them, it spoils Serena's plans. Nicole gets called in to work. Serena and Xander leave. Nicole asks Daniel if he is upset with her for having to go to work. Daniel tells her no. How many times has he ended dates, because he had to go to work.
