At the park, Daniel stumbles across JJ trying to trash his phone. JJ is out of control. Daniel stops him. He can tell he is still upset and something is eating away at him. Daniel urges him to open up about what is stressing him out. JJ snaps at Daniel to take care of his own life. Daniel pushes him to settle down. JJ admits that he has ruined his life. Again, Daniel tries to get JJ to talk to him. JJ decides he needs to keep it to himself for right now. Daniel tells him he is there for him if he needs someone to talk to.
Later, Daniel is with Maggie, Parker and Melanie. Melanie needs to ask him something when they are alone. The scene also shows Eric's elephant on the table at Daniel's apartment.
