Daniel arrives at the Horton home to join Jennifer and JJ for Paige's funeral. JJ is happy that Daniel could be there for his mom. At the funeral, Daniel offers condolences to Theresa, but she remains quiet and ignores the thank you to quickly excuse herself and move off to talk with Paige's roommate. Jennifer feels uncomfortable. Daniel assures her that this is for Paige and for them to be there for her son.
Later, JJ decides he should leave before Eve comes back, but too late. Eve berates all of them for being there and for hurting her daughter.
When they return to the Horton home, JJ is blaming himself for Paige's death, but will not tell Daniel why he feels that way. Daniel hugs Jennifer goodbye. He lets her know if she needs anything to call.
