Eric finds Daniel in the hospital. He would like to talk to him, but Daniel has to take a raincheck. He rushes off to the lab.
Later, at the park, Daniel comes across Xander harassing Nicole. They have words and Daniel warns Xander to stay away from him, Parker and Nicole. Nicole informs him that Xander is working for Victor now. Parker arrives and the mood changes to happy as the picnic begins. Nicole plays with Parker. Daniel sits and thinks about Xander. Nicole encourages him to go talk with Victor.
Daniel meets with Victor. He questions Victor about his connections with Xander. Victor denies any dealings with Xander, but Daniel doesn't believe him.
