At Daniel's apartment, Nicole stops kissing Daniel. She feels like there is doom hanging over their future. Daniel assures her there is nothing to fear She only has to believe.
Maggie arrives and Parker informs her that Nicole is going to stay forever. Daniel confirms that statement and wants to talk to Maggie alone. Nicole takes Parker into the other room.
Daniel tells Maggie that he has asked Nicole to marry him. Maggie wonders if Nicole staying here is a good idea for Parker. Daniel doesn't think it is a problem. Daniel reminds Maggie about how hard it was for people to accept her and Victor. Daniel says it is true love between him and Nicole. Maggie understands and hugs Daniel. Maggie offers Nicole congratulations. Daniel leaves with Parker so Maggie and Nicole can talk.
Daniel and Parker are eating ice cream in the park. Daniel asks Parker if he is happy Nicole is going to live with them. Parker says yes. Daniel says they are going to have so much fun. He is unaware that Eric is listening to their conversation.
Later, Daniel returns home. He sends Parker off with Maggie. Nicole receives a text from Eric he wants to see her. She decides to see him by pretending to go back to work, leaving Daniel to start dinner. Serena shows up at Daniel's door. She has something he needs to hear.
