At the restaurant, Daniel proposes to Nicole. She is overwhelmed. Daniel tells her he is glad she is in his life. Nicole has reservations, if this is really what Daniel wants. He says yes. What ever happened in the past is done. It has only served to bring them closer together. Nicole says Yes! Daniel puts the ring on her finger. Daniel is confident that with no secrets between them, they will have a strong future together. Nicole flashes back to Eric and Daniel senses her apprehension. He will tell Parker and then they will tell their family and friends. Nicole is excited. She heads for home, to make plans.
Daniel is at the hospital when Brady finds him. He asks him if he knows that Serena has taken a new job at the hospital. She will not be leaving town. He found out when he visited Eric and Serena was there. Daniel questions why Serena would even be with Eric.
