Nicole arrives home. She doesn't think Daniel is home and opens the forbidden top drawer. Daniel watches as she finds a picture Parker has drawn of her, Daniel and him. Nicole is touched by the picture. But, she thinks that was not what Daniel had hiding in the drawer. She asks what he was hiding. Daniel doesn't reply, but kisses her instead. Nicole still wants to know what he was hiding. Daniel ushers her out the door for their lunch date.
At the restaurant, Daniel has Nicole check the bread basket for her surprise. Nicole checks, but doesn't only find bread. Daniel cannot wait until the lunch is over. He gets down on one knee, opens the ring box and asks her to marry him.
