At Daniel's apartment, Daniel overhears Melanie on the phone making plans with one of her friends. Daniel asks Melanie if she is going on a date. He hopes it is with someone he approves of.
Unaware that Melanie's date is Brady, Daniel calls him. He asks for his mountain bike back. Brady says he will be right over. Brady texts Melanie about the change in plans. When he arrives both Melanie and Brady are uneasy. Melanie hugs Daniel goodbye and Brady makes his exit also.
Later, Maggie stops by. Daniel warns her that he will be bringing Nicole as his date to the opening of Victor's club. Maggie is concerned, but like Melanie, wants Daniel to be happy.
Jennifer calls asking for Daniel's help. She sets up an appointment to meet with him tomorrow. She is worried about JJ. Daniel tells her he would do anything to help JJ.
