At the hospital, Abi is with Chad when he wakes from his coma. Daniel comes in to tend to him, telling him to relax.
Daniel orders a sedative for him. Chad is confused, but Daniel tells him to calm down.
Daniel gets Chad a glass of water, telling him to sip slowly. Chad coughs a bit, but wants to know what is going on. Daniel tells him he was in a coma. He tells Chad to rest and leaves the room.
Hope, Justin and Rafe arrive at the hospital. Daniel tells them that it is common for coma patients to have lapses in memory. Justin pushes for Chad's arrest. Rafe reads Chad his rights, charging him with the murders of Serena, Paige and Will. Chad is shocked to hear that Will was also killed.
Daniel continues to observe as Rafe also charges Chad with assaults to both Marlena and Ben.
Daniel warns Justin that his patient has only been awake for an hour. Justin doesn't care and calls Chad a serial Killer.. He wants Chad downtown now.
Justin and Rafe continue to grill Chad. Daniel tells them his patient isn't going any where until he releases him. Daniel will order a CT scan tonight.
Daniel returns with the CT scan results. Everything appears normal, but he would like to have Chad stay overnight for observation. Justin squelches that suggestion. The doctor at lockup can observe him.
