Daniel and Eric are in the square. Daniel tries thanking Eric for everything he did to help Nicole. Eric tells him to stop. He feels guilty how Serena and Xander have hurt people. Daniel is puzzled by Eric's reaction. Daniel spots Victor.
Victor apologizes to Eric for Xander's shameful actions. Daniel asks Victor to help get Xander behind bars. Victor tells Daniel he has exhausted his efforts to put Xander away. Victor tells Daniel that he has disowned Xander and asked him to leave. Roman arrives and says they still don't have any evidence to put Serena or Xander away. Roman thinks they will concentrate on the diamond smuggling. Roman leaves. Daniel asks Victor if Xander's business was working with Victor. Victor denies having any business dealing with Xander. Daniel hopes that that is true, because he could not tolerate betrayal with his family.
