     Daniel is with Parker seeing if he can fix the broken elephant. When Daniel handles the elephant, the base slips open revealing a hidden compartment. Daniel decides to fix the elephant later and gets ready to take Parker to Maggies.
     Daniel and Parker are at the square and the meet Eric. Parker tugs on Daniel's coat and whispers in his ear. He wants Daniel to tell Eric about the broken elephant. Eric does not get upset with the news. Daniel tells him that Parker was fond of it and he will fix it later, but Daniel does ask Eric about the hidden compartment. Eric was unaware of any secret compartment in the elephant. Daniel and Parker head on their way to Maggies. Eric flashes back to Serena's obsession with the elephant and realizes she hid something in the statue for him to bring into the United States from Africa. 
    Later, Daniel tricks Nicole into meeting up with him pretending to be an informant for a story. Nicole is nervous being in public. Daniel just wants five minutes for her to tell him what is going on between her and Xander. Nicole promises him she will tell him everything tomorrow after Parker goes back with Chloe.  She kisses him.  Daniel agrees, and tells her that he loves her. They kiss again unaware that Xander is observing in the bushes.
