At the hospital, Kayla asks Daniel if he would like a ride to Paige's party. Daniel thanks Kayla, but he left Paige's gift at home. He will have to go home to get it before the party. When Daniel arrives home, Lou the super tells him that he was sorry he was late for Nicole. Daniel doesn't understand. Lou goes on to tell him that Nicole called and wanted to pick up a few things from his apartment, but had to leave. Daniel sarcastically comments..."I bet she did".
Later, Nicole is at her desk daydreaming that if she told Daniel the truth, he would help her and forgiver her.
Daniel arrives at the Horton house for Paiges's party. JJ greets him and asks to talk with him. JJ tells Daniel that he knows he hurt Paige, but he will never do anything to hurt her again. Daniel asks him if he can carry that huge secret around forever. JJ says he loves Paige and he can never hurt her by telling her he slept with her mother. Daniel warns him that it could all fall apart if it ever came out, but JJ is assured the secret will never come out. JJ tells everyone to be quiet, Paige will be there shortly and he wants everything perfect for his girl. Daniel glances at JJ.
