     Xander stops Daniel at the hospital. He asks how the baby is doing. He is checking for uncle Victor. Daniel tells him the procedure has not started yet. Daniel will keep Victor posted on updates. Xander asks about Nicole. Daniel politely says Nicole is fine. Daniel wants to leave to get some good coffee. Xander invites himself to join Daniel. Daniel and Xander  talk over coffee. Xander makes a remark how Victor has always treated Daniel like a son. He also remarks that Daniel's father was also good friends with Victor unlike his own father. Serena stops by the table and asks to join them. Daniel says by all means. Serena starts to talk about Xander's background, never mentioning he was part of the Kiriakis family. Daniel senses tension and decides to excuse himself from the table.
    As Daniel is passing through the square, he sees Nicole. She is polite to him.  They apologize to each other. Daniel asks if she would like to have dinner with him.  Nicole thinks they are both too busy right now. She will call him in four or five days.
    Later, Eric stops by Daniel's apartment with photos of Parker. Daniel tells him about Serena inviting himself, Melanie and Xander out to dinner. Eric finds that strange as he knows that Serena doesn't even like Xander
