Daniel is running late to meet Nicole for coffee. He calls her and tells her he is detained. He has to release a patient. Nicole guesses it is Brady. She is annoyed because Daniel kept the fact that Brady was in the hospital from her. She spews at him for shutting her out of his life. Daniel spews sarcasm back to Nicole and cuts the conversation short.
Daniel meets to release Brady. They discuss the puncture wound in Brady's arm. Victor storms in and blasts Daniel, Melanie and Brady for not telling him Brady was hospitalized. Daniel advises Victor to calm down. Victor needs to know everything that happens to his family. Daniel barks back at Victor. If Victor is scared it is because of something he has done to put his family in jeopardy. Melanie breaks up the fray and moves to get Brady home to relax.
Daniel finally meets up with Nicole. He takes a phone call, but watches Nicole in conversation with a man at her table. The man leaves and Daniel finishes his phone call. He questions Nicole about the man she was with. She tells him it was just someone she bumped in to. She doesn't know who he is. Daniel asks why then did Nicole give him her card. Nicole laughs and tells Daniel he is jealous. Daniel takes offense and says he is not jealous. Nicole tells him he should be, because that man knows how to treat a woman.
