At the University, Daniel overhears Paige saying she is going on a date with Cole. He is sorry that JJ is now with Roxanne and is concerned Paige is settling with Cole. Paige does not want Daniel to worry that she is like her mother. He backs off, but encourages her to stay in touch. She says she is still available to babysit for Parker.
Daniel arrives at work to find Jennifer in his office. He is glad she is there. He would like to talk to her. Jennifer beats around the bush and says that JJ is no longer with Roxanne. Daniel finds that odd and wants an explanation. Jennifer continues to avoid the issue and Daniel tells her the Jennifer he knows does not lie. Daniel gets a phone call, but wants her to stay so thay can talk, Jennifer leaves the office. Later Daniel tries to reach Jennifer. Nicole overhears the message he leaves, telling Jennifer he will always care for her.
