Daniel arrives home to Parker, Serena and Melanie. Serena asks Daniel if she could talk with him to get to know him better. Daniel agrees and will meet her when he takes Parker out for cocoa. Later Nicole arrives at Daniel's doorstep. Melanie excuses herself to go to work. Daniel tells Nicole it would be best if she phoned instead of dropping by. He doesn't trust his feelings around Nicole. She tries to flirt, but Daniel asks her to leave. Nicole drops her purse. When Daniel helps pick things up their hands touch and sparks fly. Nicole leaves, but vows to get Daniel back.
Later, Daniel and Parker meet with Serena. She asks him for a favor, but Daniel immediately turns her down. He does not want to come between Serena and Eric in anyway. Parker asks if Daniel brought his toy. Daniel says no, the elephant has to stay in the apartment. Serena's eyes widen. She has located the missing elephant.
