Daniel is at his office in the hospital. He gets annoyed with Nicole's text and throws his phone in the drawer. Jennifer hears the noise and checks in on him. She can tell he is upset and asks if he would like to talk. He thinks it would be a good idea. Jennifer knows it must be about Nicole. Daniel gets things off his chest and is glad he can talk with Jennifer. They pinkie swear that they should remain friends for life.
Then Later, when Daniel is home, Nicole shows up at his door. Daniel is not in the mood for her drama. Nicole tries to reason with Daniel.
She says she knows what she wants. Daniel doesn't think she really knows. He tells her he is tired of the lies an half truths. They are done. Nicole starts to cry and leaves. Before she leaves she tells him she knows what is in her heart and it is him.
Later, Melanie arrives home and he informs her that he and Nicole are over.
