Daniel opens the files. It reveals Serena's journal of Ted's obsession with her. It brings to light the obsession Ted had for Serena. Daniel watches as Nicole is dumbfounded that her source had mental issues. Ted's caretaker comes to get him. Serena asks Daniel for her drive back. Daniel gives it to her and asks if she will be calling the police. Serena says no. Eric and Serena leave. Nicole tries to explain. Daniel chastises her for not checking her one source. Daniel tells her she went straight from his bed to going after Serena. Daniel is ticked. Nicole abruptly leaves. Daniel goes after her.
Daniel finds Nicole drinking. He says they are not done talking. He confronts Nicole. He tells her that Serena is the victim here. He asks Nicole how she can explain that away.
