Daniel and Eric are hashing out the terms of their friendship. Daniel defends Nicole and asks Eric if he doesn't also still have some feelings for Nicole. Eric warns Daniel that Nicole is incapable of being honest. Daniel tells Eric to concentrate on his life and not his and Nicoles. He also is blunt with Eric. If the issue is pushed he will choose Nicole over Eric's friendship.
Daniel goes to see Nicole at work. He brings her flowers and has planned a serious date night. Nicole is surprised, but lies to Daniel and tells him she has a story to do at the zoo. Daniel doesn't buy it and gets annoyed with Nicole. Disappointed he says goodnight to Nicole. She stops him from leaving and tells him he is the most important person to him. She apologizes and she leaves with Daniel to get ready for her date.
At Daniel's apartment he goes to change for their dinner date. Nicole fingers the flash drive with the information she stole from Serena's computer. She fumbles back and forth to get rid of the drive, but her curiosity is getting the better of her. Daniel enters and she puts the drive in her pocket. They leave for their date. Daniel says he is a lucky man. When he opens the door, Serena and Eric are there. Serena calls Nicole a lying stealing bitch.
